Derian Is also a songwriter and instrumentalist. Her sound flows smoothly between soul, funk, punk, and southern. Derian moved from West Virginia and has been a part of the Asheville community since June of 2022. She grew up touring with The One Voice Project, presenting children around the east coast with a message of hope and empowerment. Since moving to Asheville, Derian has joined Leaf Global Arts as a resident teaching artist teaching ukulele, songwriting, guitar, and cultural competence. Derian is working on writing and recording a first solo album and is plugged into many outlets in the Asheville live music community.

Robin began playing drums at age 12, then drumming for several high school rock bands, and played the college fraternity circuit. She moved to Houston, where she played the gamut of clubs in the 80s and 90s with a regionally successful cover band. In 1998, she established herself in the Houston musical theater circuit for fifteen years. In 2005, she lived in Scotland, touring Europe with Lucille and the Red Hot Blues Mamas performing at the Aalborg Blues Festival, Denmark, and Stichting Blues Fest, Breda, Netherlands. She relocated back home to North Carolina in 2014 and has reconnected with many of the rock stars of her musical beginnings. She currently drums with many other great Asheville-based artists.

Kim is a multi-instrumentalist playing fretless and fretted bass as well as electric and acoustic guitar. Kim has performed with a variety of renowned Asheville-area performers including Will Ray, Chicago blues man Mr. Jimmy, Peggy Ratusz, Jason DeCristofaro
and Ray Ring; nationally she has performed with/opened for The Hooters and T

Her songwriting and guitar work interested Polygram and received indie label offers and has been on radio around the country. She was featured in Guitar World magazine, Chicago Tribune / other press and signed a licensing deal with Outright Music a few years ago. Her passion for world music textures was ignited in part by elements as diverse as Arabic maqams, living in Israel & listening to classic Indian ragas. She moved to Asheville in late 2021 and is firing up her musical passions there.
